Black Beauty and the AK-47. (Photo post.)

“I may be firing an AK-47 for the first time this weekend, along with some other rifles. I only have experience with handguns. Getting in Trouble

NOTE: This post was originally published on a different blog of mine in 2006.

I don’t think I’ve ever properly thanked the bundle of you who have signed on to read everything I dish out, even when it’s crap or a bunch of pictures or a love poem.

You know what? I really appreciate that you’ve stuck around this long. (Yes, Original Hater, that includes you, too.) I hope you’re enjoying the new profile page, because I designed it for you. I wanted to make it easier to access all of my stories, even the crappy ones that you may have missed at the beginning. All of the blog links should be fixed now, so please check them out. November 2: My “Juicy” Journey

“Those who are born on November 2 are usually busy with some sort of transformation. The changes which they effect are both in themselves and in the environment around them. They are characters on life’s stage who change the action of the drama just by their presence, for better or worse.

The transformations wrought by November 2 people can go very far indeed; the structure, direction and purpose of business organizations or social or religious entities can come under their sway.

November 2 people generally arrive at a crossroads, often at age 28, 44 or 56, when they must drastically redirect the course of their lives. Should they be able to effect an internal change, becoming aware of their needs and ever more determined to realize them, then the chances of them succeeding on their path are great indeed.”

I’m Feeling You

I am feeling you right

reaching up to touch
an endless sky.
Your multiple tongues
spilling mellifluous from
mouths of speakers, native.

I am feeling you.
Right?
Now
you have me
where you want
me.
Pushed up between
the waiting strangers
on the train,
hungry for that
connection.
