Help me out and vote for a sexy picture.
Let me back up. Last week, I accepted an invitation to read at an upcoming edition of the deliciously naughty In The Flesh Reading Series hosted by the one and only Rachel Kramer Bussel (of both Penthouse Variations and Cupcakes Take the Cake).
Asking you to help me pick a sexy photo is funny because I usually go out of my way not to promote myself and my writing based on how I look. But Rachel needs a photo to promote the reading I’m doing on April 15 for Nerd and Sex Night. (Nerd and Sex night! Isn’t that awesome!!)
Anyways, please vote for #1, #2 or #3 IN THE COMMENTS. You can retweet this, post links or whatever, but please leave a comment HERE so I can count the votes tonight and send Rachel the photo and a bio for event promotion purpose.

I have no idea what I’m going to read yet. I haven’t ever written anything about nerds and sex. But here are a couple of things I have written about sex.

I like #1! Just an explanation – I started adding author photos (though it’s not mandatory) to give a little more personal feel when strangers are browsing the In The Flesh site, rather than just boring bios and links. I think it adds a nice touch BUT I don’t want anyone, especially you, to feel uncomfortable about it.
Anyway…I’m so thrilled that you’ll be joining us!

#2, definitely, then #1.
totally two. But they are three very different “brands” of teh sexy. #1 is so glam it might scare the nerds away; #3 adorably looks like you’re about to bust out laughing, which could also scare nerds away. #2 doesn’t feel like you’re posing. It’s the only one where you aren’t pulling back from the camera. I like it best.
HOWEVER… popping over to the in the flesh website, the first one fits in best with the headshots already there. Design nerd here. Context important.
However, the peeps seem to have spoken loud.
I admit that #2 is the “sexiest” but I personally like #3. Am I the ONLY one who voted for #3? I like #3 b/c you are smiling…

My favorite depends on the day, but of the three photos, I was definitely having the most fun in #3. It was at a friend’s birthday party and that was a new dress. It was fantastic. Thanks for the rebel vote :)
I like #3 because you look so happy, but #2 is definitely sexier. It’s the eyes and the hair, I think…
I might be too late to vote, but #2 is so incredibly sexy with that bedhead, sultry feel about it. I think that photo on your MySpace might just be what made me fall in love with you.
